Gallery View and Active Speaker

When you are in a Zoom meeting you can switch the ways you view people on your screen – gallery view or active speaker.

You can switch between these as many times as you like during a meeting. Switch to gallery view to see everyone in the meeting at the same time or active speaker to see only the person speaking.

Switching between views can be slightly different depending on whether you are using a laptop/computer, tablet or iPad, iPhone or android phones.

To switch between views during a meeting click or tap on the “gallery view” or “active speaker” button on the screen. On a laptop/computer this is often located in the top right hand corner.

If you are using a phone or tablet you may also be able to swipe the screen left or right to switch between views.

Click on the buttons below for more information and try out switching views in a test meeting.
